A selection of our favourite shellfish ready for you to create your own 'Fruit de Mer' at the comfort of your own kitchen. The platter will include;
- 1 Cooked Lobster (400g-600g)
- 1 Dressed Crab (180g)
- Cooked Crevettes - These will need defrosting
- 1kg Live Teignmouth Mussels - Simply Steam in white wine for 5-7 mins until they have opened. Discard any that remain unopened
- 6 Brixham Half Shell Scallops - Simply add a knob of butter and grill for 3-4 Minutes on high heat
- You can now add 1 Dozen oysters to really complete your shellfish feast!
Start by defrosting your crevettes. Next steam your mussels, add a glug off white wine to a pan and steam for 5-7 minutes. Now add some garlic butter to your scallop shell and grill them on a high heat for 3-4 minutes. Once you have the cooking out the way, split your lobster. Take a sharp knife and pierce through the head, then down through the body. The dressed crab is already cooked, just remove from the pack and place on your platter.
A perfect seafood feast, all prepared within 15 minutes.
Please note: Once defrosted, crevettes must be used within 24 hours. Other items must be used before the BBE, or within 3 days of delivery.
